Hello, Everyone~

I am Nandar, a UX designer with 4 years of experience delivering user-centered designs for various platforms, ranging from web and mobile applications, maintaining and creating design system and doing user research.

See the timeline below to see where my journey started with UX.😄

Jun 2019, University

My love affair with UX design started when I chanced upon a 'Human-Computer Interaction' module in Uni, which led me to discover user experience design and user research.

Jun 2019, Ship Supplies Direct

After graduation with an electrical and electronic engineering degree, instead of starting a job as an engineer, I decided to intern as a UX designer in a startup company called 'Ship Supplies Direct.' This was where I started to learn more in-depth about creating user flows, wireframes, color palette for an app, creating design components, and learning how to work with developers.

Feb 2020, Alphawave

After my stint at Ship Supplies Direct, I was hired as a project executive at Alphawave to create a mobile version of their existing property booking web application. Skills such as stakeholder management, client management, communication, and presentation were gained in this job.

Feb 2021, General Assembly (UX Immersive Program)

I was comfortable delivering UI artifacts and design mockups, but I realized that my knowledge in UX research was quite limited. So, I enrolled in a UX immersive Program. In this program, I was able to dive deeper into UX research tools, learn when to use specific tools, and understand how to gather and synthesize data to generate actionable insights.

Jul 2021, Novade

Next, I was hired as a UX/UI designer at Novade. In Novade, I was given opportunities to grow from someone who solely focused on UX/UI design to someone who took charge of and reinvented multiple design processes. I successfully implemented data analytics processes within our product team.
